fantasy friday 4.26.2019

 
If I had more money, time, and all the butter – here are the things I would be baking this week.  I’ve also thrown in a cocktail of the weekend because fancy drinks make me feel fancy.

• I’m a neutrals girl when it comes to my wardrobe and my cakes.  This chocolate ombre cake fits in really nicely to both.
• It’s spring and I’m on a buy all the berries kick.  Enter berry cream sandwich cookies.
• I love lemon and I love baking projects that lure me in with “9 hours prep time” so it’s a good guess I’ll be making these lemon seven layer bars soon.
• I made buttercream flowers for the first time last week and felt good about myself and then I saw this gorgeous cake and felt bad about myself.
• I just ate two cadbury eggs and a blackberry lime cake topped with a forest of fruit looks like what I need to get some vitamins back in my system.

Cocktail of the weekend

• Next week I’m taking a girls vacation with some of my favorite humans and all I want is a cantaloupe margarita and a long nap on the beach.
