If I had more money, time, and all the butter in the land – here are the things I would be baking this week. I’ve also thrown in a cocktail of the weekend because fancy drinks make me feel fancy.
- PB&J inspired pie last week and lucky charms treats this week? Yes and yes.
- It has been cold and gray all week and I’d like to curl up with this loaf of banana bread. To be clear, I mean the entire loaf.
- I’m thinking ahead to Easter because holidays are defined by desserts in my world and this lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting is at the top of my list. Full disclosure – I accidentally typed top of my “life” there instead of “list” and considered keeping it – because it’s not wrong…
- One day I will plan ahead and tackle making cinnamon rolls from scratch. For now, I will make this cinnamon roll pound cake the day of. It feels win-win to me.
- It only takes three ingredients and an enthusiastic spin in the stand mixer to make these nutella meringues so this could become a dangerous habit.
Cocktail of the weekend
- I didn’t realize how thirsty I was until I saw this honey sweetened fresh peach lemonade. I would add sweet tea vodka and dream about having a porch swing (and a porch).
