fantasy friday 9.30.2016

If I had more money, time, and all the butter in the land – here are the things I would be baking this week.  I’ve also thrown in a cocktail of the weekend because fancy drinks make me feel fancy.

• My nephew is 9 weeks old. I am already planning his first birthday cake.
• How sweet and classy is this meyer lemon almond cake? I want to be as sweet and classy as this cake.
• If my boyfriend ran this blog every post would be strawberry rhubarb pie. The words “not in season” mean nothing to him.
• It’s rainy and gray today. This dark berry tart with basil fits them mood.
• What goes better with a rainy day than tea? Milk tea cake with honey.

Cocktail of the weekend

• We are officially in “warming spices season” so let’s embrace it with pitchers of spiced pear and ginger cocktails.
