If I had more money, time, and all the butter – here are the things I would be baking this week. I’ve also thrown in a cocktail of the weekend because fancy drinks make me feel fancy.
- I first had butter cake at a California Pizza Kitchen on vacation in California, which I think is the wrong interpretation of eating local – but either way it’s the first time I had butter cake and it was everything. This butter cake with toasted coconut has my name on it. Eat your heart out CPK.
- Buttercream flowers are back in style but this time it’s buttercream succulents and I am SO ON BOARD.
- This past Monday would have been the perfect time to make these lemon raspberry breakfast rolls but I didn’t and now, Caitlin from the past – I’m not mad, I’m disappointed.
- I’m not ready to go into apple mode yet so this peach galette with baklava like filling is a late summer miracle. Also, I’m borderline stalking Adrianna from a cozy kitchen and I’m not afraid to admit it.
- She made her own sprinkle mix and now my life feels incomplete without my own custom sprinkle identity.
Cocktail of the weekend
- Cucumber vodka soda is basically the green juice of cocktails but better in every way.
