fantasy friday 10.27.2016 (halloween ideas)

If I had more money, time, and all the butter – here are the things I would be baking this week.  I’ve also thrown in a cocktail of the weekend because fancy drinks make me feel fancy.

• I’m 100% in if your plans are to eat dozens of fun size candy bars this weekend (I’m right there with you), but if you’re planning to go the homemade route, these twix I made a few weeks ago are glorious.
• If you really want to show off, how gorgeous are these day of the dead cupcakes?
• My cousin and I have big plans to stay in and watch practical magic and I’m thinking we should also dip all the snacks in our kitchen into this caramel dip.
• I’ve never had a candy apple because I still have a baby tooth (yep) and I live in fear of it falling out – but how gorgeous are these poison toffee apples? I kind of want to make them just to display them.
• I don’t think this list can exist without a pumpkin option so I’m choosing pumpkin marble cake with cream cheese glaze.

• To stay on theme with the movie this weekend, midnight margaritas are in order.  If you don’t know practical magic well enough to understand that reference, I recommend you change your weekend plans.
